A writer and playwright, she is the author of plays honoured with, in particular, the GDYNIA Drama Award (2011) and a Gold Remi at the Worldfest Independent Film Festival in Houston (2016). In 2019, she received the Gdynia Literary Prize for her book Krótka wymiana ognia. The novel also reached the final of the Nike Literary Award (2019) and was named one of the ten best Polish novels of the decade by the Polityka weekly. In 2020, she received the Odra Monthly Prize for the triptych ‘Ślicznotka doktora Josefa’, ‘Krótka wymiana ognia’ and ‘Tkanki miękkie’. In 2021, she received the Literary Award of the Capital City of Warsaw and the Gryfia Literary Award for Female Authors for her novel ‘Tkanki miękkie’. In 2022, her novel Ten się śmieje, kto ma zęby was published.
