Piórkowska
A writer, poet and columnist for the portal miastoliteratury.com., she is the author of the novel Szklanka na pająki (2010/2018), the prose Utkanki (2014), the novel Kraboszki (2020) and four poetry volumes - the latest is Syberia (2016). In 2022, the play Rodzanice (Gdynia Główna Theatre, Academy of Voices of Tradition, directed by Ewa Ignaczak) was created based on Kraboszki. She is a trainer of creative writing workshops at Progressteron the national personal development festival for women and at the Youth Palace in Gdańsk (2002-2018). She was nominated for the City of Gdańsk Splendor Gedanensis Award in the field of culture for 2010. She is the winner of the Pro Libro Legendo Award of Gdansk Librarians for 2010, as well as of the first prize in the Costerina Competition of Pomeranian and Kashubian Literature 2021 (in the prose category). For several years, she has been organising herbal and plant literary walks and creative writing workshops. She is the scholarship holder of the City of Gdańsk and the Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship. Her novel Gaja and a green literary guide to Gdańsk (Marpress) will be out in 2023.
