A writer and a photographer, he’s the author of many reportage series and books, including Miedzianka. The Story of Disappearance, A Bathtub With a Colonnade, 13 pięter, Archipelago City, Ill-Born. Polish Post-war Modernist Architecture. A holder of scholarships of the National Centre for Culture Poland, the Ryszard Kapuściński ‘Herodot’ Foundation and the Capital City of Warsaw. Nominated for the most important literary awards in Poland. His books have been translated into English, German, Russian, Czech and Hungarian, and a translation into Chinese is in preparation. He is an associate of the Institute of Reportage in Warsaw and a co-founder of the MiedziankaFest and Miedzianka po drodze literary festival. His latest book, Mein Gott, jak pięknie, was published by Karakter in March.
