She is a graduate of Krzysztof Kieślowski Faculty of Radio and Television at the University of Silesia in Katowice. After graduation, she worked for the Karol Irzykowski Film Studio. From 1988 to 2010, she was a journalist with TVP Gdańsk. She directed documentaries about art. She was an editor responsible for the production plays for the Polish Television Theatre. She was the head of the cultural editorial board and the Television Theatre. She completed internships with Arte TV and other French-language TV stations, and the BBC. From 2010 to 2019, she was deputy-mayor of Sopot responsible for culture, education and social care. Since November 2019, she has been director of Goyki 3 Art Incubator, a cultural institution in Sopot.
