{"id":3668,"date":"2023-06-10T16:51:14","date_gmt":"2023-06-10T14:51:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/en.literackisopot.pl\/?post_type=people&#038;p=3668"},"modified":"2023-11-01T19:28:16","modified_gmt":"2023-11-01T18:28:16","slug":"barbara-piorkowska","status":"publish","type":"people","link":"http:\/\/2023.literackisopot.pl\/en\/people\/barbara-piorkowska\/","title":{"rendered":"Barbara Pi\u00f3rkowska"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A writer, poet and columnist for the portal miastoliteratury.com., she is the author of the novel <em>Szklanka na paj\u0105ki<\/em> (2010\/2018), the prose <em>Utkanki<\/em> (2014), the novel <em>Kraboszki<\/em> (2020) and four poetry volumes &#8211; the latest is <em>Syberia<\/em> (2016). In 2022, the play <em>Rodzanice<\/em> (Gdynia G\u0142\u00f3wna Theatre, Academy of Voices of Tradition, directed by Ewa Ignaczak) was created based on <em>Kraboszki<\/em>. She is a trainer of creative writing workshops at Progressteron the national personal development festival for women and at the Youth Palace in Gda\u0144sk (2002-2018). She was nominated for the City of Gda\u0144sk Splendor Gedanensis Award in the field of culture for 2010. She is the winner of the Pro Libro Legendo Award of Gdansk Librarians for 2010, as well as of the first prize in the Costerina Competition of Pomeranian and Kashubian Literature 2021 (in the prose category). For several years, she has been organising herbal and plant literary walks and creative writing workshops. She is the scholarship holder of the City of Gda\u0144sk and the Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship. Her novel <em>Gaja<\/em> and a green literary guide to Gda\u0144sk (Marpress) will be out in 2023.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">pic. from the author&#8217;s
